The Trust’s investment advisor is Park Avenue Investment Advisors, LLC, a New York limited liability company (the “Advisory Group”).

The Investment Advisory Group is headed by Michael A. DeRose. Mr. DeRose has over 15 years experience in the Investment Industry, principally as an Introducing Broker. Mr. DeRose is Chairman & CEO of Park Avenue Venture Group, Ltd. & It's Affiliate Company's : Park Avenue Asset Management, Park Avenue Property Group, Park Avenue Entertainment Group & Park Avenue Investment Advisor's LLC. Mr. DeRose also serves as Sr. VP of Managed Accounts with Vision Financial Markets & Vision Investment Advisors,LLC. Mr. DeRose's extensive track record in identifying some of the Industries top performing money managers and individual investment programs for his clients' funds have been & will continue to be the key to his clients success as well as the future success of The Universal Venture Trust. Yu Dee Chang and Jeffrey Notaro are consultants to the advisory Group.

Mr. Chang is the chief trader and sole principal of ACE Investment Strategists, LLC, a trading advisor located in New York, New York. Mr. Chang began his financial career in 1987 as a currency-hedging consultant for an import/export firm. It was there that Mr. Chang learned about the financial markets, and eventually developed his trading style and innovative strategies.  Five years later, he entered the commodity brokerage business, and rose to the position of head trader. He soon became a principal and part owner of the firm, and in succession he opened several investment firms on his own. In 1997, he launched Chesapeake Investment Services, Inc., a multi-faceted commodity futures Trust offering a range of brokerage services.

Mr. Chang is an unremittingly generous sharer of his knowledge. Just ask any employee, friend or almost any investor in the general Washington, D.C. area. His favorite motto "Always invest your time, before you invest your money," highlights the importance he places on financial education. For years, Mr. Chang has remained a popular host of several investment-oriented radio talk shows where he discusses his investment philosophy and technical and fundamental views of the market. He has been invited to conduct keynote speeches, presentations, and workshops for industry peers and the investment public at large, academic organizations, clubs and associations. Recently, Mr. Chang has been active in conducting investment seminars and speaking at trade shows across the country.

Mr. Notaro has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry. Mr. Notaro operates Global Quest, LLC, a company that invests, among other things, in foreign real estate.  Mr. Notaro also operates a registered investment advisory and brokerage business in New York City.

Mr. Notaro began on Wall Street in 1986, after graduating from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. His early experience included positions in the field of institutional equity and bond trading. Beginning in 1991, Mr. Notaro joined the brokerage firm of Vision LP as manager of their futures trading desk.  He later became manager of the equity trading desk for the newly formed broker dealer, Vision Brokerage Services, LLC. Mr.  Notaro continues to hold the position of Principal with Vision Brokerage Services, and is a consultant on trading related issues.
